Week 3 Final Questions

Hello Class:

Here are the final 3 questions.

Question 1, From Chapter 2: What is the primary type of policing in the United States and generally, what police agency handles crime in the rural areas of a state? In a small unicorporated village?

Question 2, From Chapter 7: List and describe various police recruitment techniques, identify and discuss various police selection techniques, and explain how the qualities desired in todays police officer differ from those inherent in the police officer of the past.

Question 3, Chapter 8: Discuss evolving themes in the police training curriculum and explain how the legal environment impacts police training.


Please cover the topics in enough detail so that you show an understanding of the topic of each question. You must attach as a MS Word document and send to my zkalam@mdc.edu email before 12 midnight on Sunday November 14th.

Thoughts

Well it certainly has been an interesting and challenging Blog.

I am exhausted trying to keep up. The topics are well discussed and can go on for a long time.

For those who met the requirements as stated, thank you. For those who are still not up to speed, keep going.
